Dan Petersen is an associate with the firm and concentrates his practice on state and federal criminal defense, including cybercrime, drug trafficking, fraud, identity theft, RICO, and white collar crime.  He also handles expungements and municipal court matters, such as drug possession.

Mr. Petersen is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.  He received his B.S. from the Honors College at Rutgers-Newark and his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law-Newark.

Prior to joining the firm, he was one of six inaugural members of the Rutgers Law Associates Fellowship Program, which is the nation’s first post-doctoral fellowship program of its kind and was designed to train recent law school graduates as practitioners through a concentrated skills training regimen.  He gained valuable courtroom experience at the Fellowship by litigating civil, family, and criminal matters in Superior and municipal court.

In addition, Mr. Petersen’s corporate and information technology background help the firm defend individuals through careful analysis of e-discovery in response to complex white collar and cybercrime investigations and prosecutions.
